The price of translation and proofreading services is usually based on the number of words in the source text. Most other services are charged by the hour.
The rates of all the services I offer depend on many factors. It is therefore impossible to name one standard price that applies to all jobs. To give you an estimate, I need you to supply additional information:
- source language
- target language
- requested service: translation, proofreading, etc.
- text purpose: publishing media, target group, etc.
- difficulty: general content, highly technical vocabulary, etc.
- volume: number of words, lines or pages
- source format and requested target format
- urgency
- availability of reference material, glossaries, etc.
- anything else that is important to you
- and of course your name, company, address and contact data
